PALACE and adidas Originals continue their strong ongoing collaborative partnership with a new SS16 collection consisting of street-configured sportswear classics and streetwear necessities.
Shot by Angelo Penetta, Blondey Mc Coy fronts the campaign which has a distinct 90’s feel to it; fitting the clothes perfectly. True to PALACE’s aesthetic, the collection takes things back to the early days, with a slew of 90s sportswear elements including packable jackets, reflective piping details and towel textile constructions. Nostalgic football designs can be seen across a few of the pieces which is always welcomed when done correctly.
Comprised of a printed jacket, hydrophilic tracksuits, reconfigured track tops as well as a range of lightweight bottoms, short and long-sleeved polo’s and tees. Accessories on offer include a drawstring bag, caps and beach towel. Footwear offerings take it back to the first sneaker drop we saw from PALACE and adidas, bringing back the PALACE Pro and PALACE Pro Primeknit silhouettes. Constructed from a premium perforated suede, the Pro channels the three-stripes’ iconic City Series with a pair of referential colourways in Navy/White and Black/Orange/Gum, whilst the Primeknit counterparts get a wildcard treatment in Teal/White and Orange/White iterations.
The first drop releases this morning through select retailers so be quick.
