Amsterdam based sneaker brand, Filling Pieces have teamed up with PUMA to collaborate on their signature Blaze of Glory shoe to create a premium re-imagination of the popular silhouette. In a surprise collaboration between two established and competing footwear brands, it’s refreshing to see such a great and imaginative result.
Founded in 2009, Filling Pieces have established themselves as serious players within the footwear industry, gaining a strong and loyal following for their premium casual aesthetic. The dutch designers have given the shoe a complete makeover upgrading the materials used on the upper. An all-black leather woven toe is complimented with perforated leather and soft nubuck accents, sitting atop a white trinomic outsole. A goatskin insole, subtle de-bossed branding and rose-gold tips on waxed laces are the finishing touches on this magical rework.
The shoe drops at Dover Street Market London, KITH, SSENSE and more select retailers on July 30.
