This summer sees another collaboration in the partnership between English sportswear giants, Reebok and Danish sneaker store, Naked. Whilst drawing heavy inspiration from 90’s athletic wear, the Copenhagen designers have managed create a collection which is just as current today as it would have been two decades ago.
The collection consists of a classic tracksuit, fitted court dress, lightweight mesh shorts, heavyweight cotton tee and crewneck, co-branded socks, and a sleek Club C 85. Bold Reebok embroidered logos and co branding on labels accentuate the partnership, adding subtle details throughout. With a dominant white color palette, complimented with dark green and burgundy accents, the collection is perfect for females this summer and easy to mix and match. Paying particular attention to the Club C 85; a white perforated leather upper with embroided green and burgundy branding sits atop a crisp white midsole. Slick and subtle all white Naked branding adorns the tongue also.
Both the Naked stores were amongst my favourite retail spots when I visited Copenhagen last year and it’s great to see them getting recognised on an international scale for their design and execution in collaborations such as this. The shopping experience, both instore and online, are amongst the best I’ve around. Focusing solely on womens trainers, Naked has achieved the status of the worlds leading female sneaker supplier in just 10 years since they opened.
The full collection can be seen in detail here and is available from August 10 both instore and online at Naked CPH.
